Starplus Services recognises the fundamental importance of security and therefore, rigorously upholds security policies stipulated by clients.
All our personnel are provided with overalls marked with the company’s insignia and are required to wear a security badge whilst on a client’s premises.
The company policy is to undertake rigorous identity checks, all candidates must pass the following six security checks prior to being allowed on client premises.
First - All candidates must prove the right to work and remain in the United Kingdom. Therefore a valid passport confirming that the individual is either a British Citizen or from a European Economic Area , or a letter from The Home Office confirming the person named is entitled to live and work in the UK.
Second - Confirming their identity and their National Insurance Number, we inspect their insurance Number card or a letter from the Inland Revenue or by a P60 or P45 from their previous employer showing the individuals name and National Insurance number on it.
Third - All candidates need to provide Copies of utility bills and bank statements to proof their address in Uk.
Fourth - All staff are paid via BACS transfer system and are therefore required to have access to an appropriate bank/building society account in their name.
Fifth - All candidates need to provide references regarding past employment.
Sixth - After completing the first five steps all candidates are required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Application. We examine this and submit an online DBS submission, which checks the candidate against the Police National Computer, local police records and several other government databases.
